Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、農業現場に近い栽培環境を再現して微生物-植物を一つの超個体として捉えた上で、超個体の物質動態や分子活動を非破壊で経時的に観察するため、RI・蛍光/発光の同時撮影が可能なマルチモーダルイメージング技術を開発する。この技術により、肥料の削減を可能とする微生物の共生メカニズムや、干ばつや塩害土壌での植物の物質動態の解明を目指す。この技術は、広く物質動態解析に適用可能であり、作物生産での肥料削減や干ばつ・塩類土壌に対応した農業への貢献が期待される。
