移植医療においてはドナー臓器の供給に明らかな限界が存在し、移植待機人数と実施件数の間に大きな解離が生じている。我々は、既にGCTPに準拠したヒトiPS細胞由来肝臓オルガノイドの臨床的大量製造法を確立している。本提案は、世界に先駆けて開発に成功した我々のヒトiPS細胞オルガノイド創出法を大きく発展させることにより、外科医が血管吻合により移植することのできるヒト臓器創出技術の開発を目指すものである。
