学力試験の記述式手書き答案を読み取り，日本語，英語，数式解答のパターン認識し，自動採点／採点支援する方式を確立する．手書き解答認識と自動採点／採点支援の間には人の介在を排除し，両者を統合して学習する．認識と採点の確信度によって，誤採点を排除するための棄却を制御し．採点者の判断に頼っていた採点基準（ルーブリック）を定式化し，言語処理によって，同義・同値・含意に対応する．
