Outline of Research at the Start

非アルコール性脂肪肝炎を発症している患者では、アルツハイマー病などの神経変性疾患が重篤化することも明らかになってきた。しかし、そのメカニズムは不明な点が多い。本研究では、この重篤化に関連する脳・小腸・肝臓を、ヒト多能性幹細胞を用いて生体外にて再現し、更にそれを搭載した組織チップを開発する。このチップを用いて重篤化機構を解明する。
