Outline of Research at the Start

細胞シートを用いた血管網付与技術と心筋球技術との融合により、血液循環をサポート可能とするパウチ状血管付き心筋組織を細胞から作製する技術を開発する。開発する技術を小型動物から大型動物へ発展させ、臨床応用が可能なバイオ補助ポンプの構築技術が確立できれば、再生医療の適応拡大と高度化が一気に加速する。
