近年、在籍している学生数や教職員数、研究成果の発表数（論文数）、外部資金による研究の実施件数や金額など、各大学における教育研究活動に関するIRデータ（Institutional Research Data）をわかりやすい形式で学外の関係者に伝えるために公開している大学が増えています。
研究代表者が所属していた大学ではIRデータの公開によって、学内の教職員に対しても、経営ビジョンの共有や意識変化といった効果が見られたことから、この研究では、データの公開が学内教職員に与えた影響を明らかにし、効果的なIRデータの可視化について考察していきます。
