| Outline of Research at the Start |
持続可能な社会の創り手の育成を目指して、地球規模の諸課題を自らに関わる問題として主体的に捉えたり、分野横断的に捉えたりすることができる教材開発等が求められている。そこで本研究では、「STEAM教育」と「変動する地球に生きるための素養」（日本学術会議、2020）の相互関係を分析・整理し、その整理を基にしながら身近な砂を自然事象の視点と資源の視点から捉え、「システムとしての地球環境と人間の共生」を探究的に学ぶ高等学校地学基礎の教材開発に取り組む。
