Outline of Research at the Start

岩手県の中山間地域の雑穀生産は、高齢者を中心に成り立つ。雑草害のない圃場を維持するために除草作業が欠かせない。また、アワ栽培に利用できる登録農薬が存在しないため、除草作業の負担が大きな問題となっている。
本研究は、アワ生産における除草作業の労力軽減に向けて、（１）アワのアレロパシー活性の品種間差を明らかにすること、（２）ヘアリーベッチのアレロパシー活性を利用したアワ栽培法を検討すること、を目的に実施する。
