| Outline of Research at the Start |
呼吸不全の病態の一つである低酸素血症を引き起こす原因に右左シャントの存在がある．低酸素血症を放置すると肺動脈圧が上昇し，心臓の負担が増えることで，心不全をきたすため早期発見・治療が必要である．
右左シャントの画像診断には放射性医薬品を用いた肺血流シンチグラフィで全身像を追加撮像し肺と全身の集積の比率からシャント率を算出する手法が一般的であるが，検査時間が延長し，患者の負担が増加する．本研究の目的はSPECT/CT画像から定量指標を用いた右左シャントの画像診断法を考案し臨床への有用性を明らかにすることである．
