Outline of Research at the Start

小児の骨密度測定は、放射線被ばくの懸念や、検査中に静止固定が必要なことから、定期的な測定は困難です。近年、成人領域で胸部X線写真から骨密度を測定することが可能であると報告されました。この手法が小児に応用できるかは分かっていません。本研究では、健常小児の胸部X線写真を用いて測定した骨密度が妥当かどうかを検討します。
