性犯罪に関する法科学鑑定では、男性特異的な核酸マーカーのスクリーニングが重要である。例えば、男性特異的な「Y染色体DNA」の有無はDNA型鑑定を行うか否かの判断基準となり、「精液特異的mRNA」の検出は性犯罪の立証に有効である。しかし、これらのDNA/RNAを検出するために使用されるPCR/RT-PCR法は時間と手間がかかる。そこで、LAMP/RT-LAMP法による等温核酸増幅とpH指示薬等による目視検出を組み合わせて、迅速・簡便かつ犯罪現場で利用可能な方法を開発する。
