Outline of Research at the Start

本研究課題では、科学は社会的価値や政治的価値の影響を受けないとする《科学の価値中立性理念》の是非を主題的に検討する。科学哲学分野ではこの理念を十全に引き受けることは難しいという理解がおおむね標準化しているが、本研究課題では、この見解をひとまず受け入れた上で、《どのような価値判断の関与であれば許容可能か》という価値マネジメント問題に焦点化し、科学研究分野の多様性を踏まえた現状分析と規範的提言を目指す。具体的には、ジェンダー論・フェミニズム研究・医学・リスク学を対象とした科学哲学的研究を行う。
