Outline of Research at the Start

現代論理学では、伝統的な演繹推論にとどまらず、ダイナミックな情報のやり取りとして推論を捉え、それを体系化する研究が進みつつあらう。他方で、論理と対照をなす統計的観点に基づく深層学習の手法は、その工学的応用が目指しい勢いで発展しているが、それによって人間の推論活動をどれくらい再現しうるのかは十分に明らかではない。この状況を踏まえて、「人間の推論（リーズニング）とはどのようなものか」という根本的な問いを再考し、その知見を人工知能における自然言語推論の研究に適用することを目指す。
