Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は、バンドン会議（アジア・アフリカ会議）、ジュネーブ会議の行われた1955年を境に、「第三世界」と呼ばれるようになった地域が参画することによって冷戦期における米国主導のグローバルな文化外交政策が経験した変容を、環太平洋、環大西洋、その他地域を相互に横断する地政学的な変動との関連において、トランスナショナルかつ学際的な文学研究の視座から精査することを目的とする。その目的のために、国務省、財団、国際機関（UNESCO等）の文化政策に関する一次資料調査を実施するほか、その成果を英語の論文にて発表するものとする。
