Outline of Research at the Start

本研究課題では、Li and Thompson (1976) によって提案された「主語卓立」対「主題卓立」の類型論について、アルタイ諸言語と日琉諸語の言語構造の多様性を手がかりに主語と主題に関する文法的特徴がどのような含意関係にあるか、主語・主題卓立型の言語において主語と主題がどのように一つの文法体系をなしているかの二点の解明を通じた類型論の再構築を目指す。
