Outline of Research at the Start

近年の手話研究は形態論・統語論・類型論・メタファー研究など著しい進展を見せているが、文がつながって生じる「談話」については、音声言語との共通点と相違点がどのような性質に基づいて生じるかの詳細がいまだ明らかになっていない。本研究課題は聴者とろう者が協働するチームで展開され、統語・意味論と談話研究を連携させながら自然発話の記録・インタビュー・実験によるデータ収集を行い、手話の談話プロセスに見られる特性の解明を目指す。その成果を反映させて、ろう者が感じる自然な会話の流れを学習者が理解できる教材作成を行う。
