Outline of Research at the Start

言語の中には，動詞や形容詞などといった特別な活用や使用法が定まっている語彙のグループがあり，これらが接続詞や前置詞といった文法的機能を果たす語彙と組み合わされることによって複雑な文を形成することができる。一方で，間投詞や擬音語，擬声語などに代表されるイデオフォンと呼ばれるような感覚を活き活きと表すような語彙は使用法が限られ，かつ活用などの変化形を持たない。本研究では，こういった語彙が果たす感覚的な役割について言語学的に考察し，その考察に基づいて神経科学，教育学，知能情報学の観点からこれらの語彙の性質を明らかにしていく。
