Outline of Research at the Start

日本語を母語とする英語学習者が、英語を使って話したり書いたりできるようになる第二言語の習得過程に関する基礎的データ（スピーキング・ライティング・語彙サイズ）を、基礎段階の学習が一通り終わっている高校１年生から、大学生になる前の高校３年生までの３年間にわたって収集する。基礎的語彙・文法を一通り学習している習得段階から、そうした第二言語の基礎知識を使いこなすことができるようになる習熟段階への発達過程を分析することで、第二言語の処理運用能力がどのように発達するかを明らかにし、言語処理運用能力の発達理論を構築するための基礎的研究を行う。
