Outline of Research at the Start

本申請では、日本人英語学習者の語彙習得における検定教科書の役割を解明するために、小中高生にとってのコア語彙とは何かを明らかにする。具体的には、(1) 小中高生にと
ってのコア語彙リストを作成すること、(2) コア語彙リストの学習可能性を明らかにすることである。2024年度に小中高で用いられている英語教科書をコーパス化したものから、申請者と研究分担者がこれまで行ってきた研究を基に、特徴語の抽出、語彙頻度分析、CEFRレベル付け語彙分析を行い、コア語彙を同定しリスト化する。また、小中高と縦断的に分析することで、コア語彙の学習可能性を明らかにすることができる。
