Outline of Research at the Start

本研究課題は、日本列島、朝鮮半島、中国大陸のいわゆる「東アジア文化圏」における漢字文化の広まりと宗教文化の展開との関係を、金石文を中心とした「同時代に書かれた文字資料」を素材に解明する共同研究である。具体的には、日本古代史、朝鮮古代史、中国唐代史の研究者による学際的研究により、日・中・韓の古代金石文の比較検討を通じて、東アジアに展開する宗教文化の影響関係や地域的変容、それを支えた社会集団の実態を解明することを主眼とする。
