Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、個別に深化してきた九州の地域権力を主軸に据えつつ、その共通性や相違点などを相互に比較かつ俯瞰することで、中世後期における九州の地域権力の特質をあきらかにする。その上で、九州の地域権力の特質を中世後期日本の全体史に還元し、九州地域から考える中世後期の日本像を再構築したい。九州地域を特殊事例あるいは例外としない中世後期の日本像とは何か、それを考えていく。
