Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、「日本、米国、ソ連の対中軍事作戦や軍事支援が中国内戦の趨勢に決定的な影響を及ぼした」という仮説を設定し、中国、台湾、日本、米国における史料調査に基づく実証研究によってその仮説を検証する取組である。これまで中国の国内事情に焦点をあてて論じられてきた中国内戦およびその結果としての中華人民共和国誕生の過程を国際政治の文脈で捉え直すことが本研究の意義といえる。
