Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は、清朝統治下のモンゴルで作成された行政図のうち、特に調査研究・保存保護が十全になされていないモンゴル国立図書館所蔵地図を中心に、地図に描かれた地形や寺院をGISにより空間分析し、幾つかの地域において、聞き取り調査やドローンを用いた3D画像の撮影を行う。これらの知見を、文書史料を用いた社会史研究の知見と総合し、清代の行政区画、土地利用、地方寺院の特徴とその変遷過程を多角的に分析する。清代の地図から派生する諸問題を、多角的・効率的に研究する手法を確立することで、将来的な分野横断型研究の基盤構築さらにはモンゴル国における清代の歴史文化財の調査・保存体制の整備に寄与できる。
