Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は日本古代の土器様式と饗宴関連遺跡の分析を通じて、国家形成期に饗宴が果たした歴史的役割について考察をするものである。以下に述べる３つの研究の柱を相互に関連付けて研究を行う。
１）土器の調理痕跡を不可視情報も含めて記録し、調理変遷を客観的に明らかにする。
２）饗宴の盛大化を酒造容器と推測される須恵器大甕をはじめとした貯蔵器の容量増加より読み取り、権力資源の拡充を実証する。
３）日韓中堅・若手研究者によって、複眼的に日韓各地の土器様式にみられる差異と共通性、饗宴関係遺跡における遺構配置や土器出土状況を検討し、饗宴論の良質な事例として国内外に発信する。
