Outline of Research at the Start

ヒノキ科樹木の新たな長期標準年輪曲線ネットワークを全国規模で拡充して、応用研究を行い、そのデータを公開することで、文化財関連分野での年輪年代学の活用を一気に世界標準まで引き上げることを目指す。具体的には、1)中部産ヒノキの長期年輪幅標準曲線を基軸に，西日本から北日本にかけて長期標準年輪曲線を各地方で構築し、全国規模で年代測定を実践できるようネットワークを整備する、2)このネットワークを元に，アスナロをモデルケースにして，近世アスナロ材の木材産地推定を試みる、3)データを世界的な年輪データベースで公開するとともに，研究者のみならず文化財担当者自らが年代測定を実践できる機会を提供する。
