Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、2010年代から2020年代初頭にかけてのインド太平洋において、安全保障や経済、 開発等様々な分野における協力のための制度化が、多層的かつ多極的に展開してきたこと、またこうした制度化は大国主導ではなく、この地域のミドルパワーの役割が大きいことを示すことを目的とする。具体的な事例として日米豪印戦略的連携(Quad)や日米比などのミニラテラルな枠組み(2) 東南アジアの一部ので活発化している海洋安全保障協力(3)CPTPPやRCEPなどのメガFTAを通じた制度化(4)メコン開発を巡る協力枠組みの進展を取り上げる。
