Outline of Research at the Start

特許制度発足時（1885年）から現代に至る期間に関する日本の全特許明細書のデータベースに基づいて、イノベーションの生成と波及のメカニズムおよびそれが経済・社会に与えるインパクトを実証的に解明する。日本については、近代的経済発展の初期に遡って、全ての特許の登録日、特許権者の名前と住所、技術分類等の情報が網羅的に利用可能であり、また関連するマイクロ・データも豊富である。そこでこれらのデータをと統合的に用いて、企業における人的資本の蓄積がどのようにイノベーションの生成に結び付くか、企業間における知識のスピルオーバー効果はどの程度存在するか、スピルオーバーのチャネルは何かといった問いに取り組む。
