Outline of Research at the Start

世界的に急成長している養殖産業だが、病気の発生が常に問題となってきた。高密度での養殖による水質の悪化や、共同利用する水路を介して農家間に負の外部性が存在する可能性があることが、さらに問題を難しくしている。本研究では、デジタル農業の導入による水質の可視化が、途上国の小規模農家が行う養殖における病気発生率の軽減や高いパフォーマンスにつながるかを考察する。スマートフォンの普及により、デジタル技術利用の難易度は下がったものの、数値化された情報を総合的に理解して、より良い農法に反映させるには高い能力が求められる。小規模農家が受けられる便益に異質性があるかを考察するとともに、農業外部性の影響を検証する。
