Outline of Research at the Start

本研究の目的は、気候政策と国際貿易の両面から国際協調に資する国境炭素調整措置（Border Carbon Adjustments: BCAs）のあり方を特定することで、欧州連合（EU）が導入する炭素国境調整メカニズム（Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism: CBAM）やWTOルールへの政策的インプリケーションを導くことである。本研究では、炭素リーケージの抑制、国際協調の促進、WTOルールとの整合性の3つの課題について、BCAsの効果を理論的・定量的に検討し、気候と貿易の両面で国際協調に資するBCAs制度のあり方を特定する。
