Outline of Research at the Start

戦争によって破壊された都市では、人と社会はどのように回復し再生していくのか。その長期にわたる世代を超えた過程はどのようなものか。1945年8月6日の原爆で破壊された広島を事例として、今日そこで行われている多様な記憶継承実践に着目し、その観察調査を通して、今なお生成される記憶文化の現代像を明らかにする。とくに焦点を合わせるのは、被爆80年を迎える8月6日の平和記念公園である。今日の平和記念公園は、原爆を憶えるパフォーマティブな実践の空間／場所として、多様な人びとを数多く集める舞台となっている。こうした人びとの実践を、ビデオ撮影を活用したビジュアル・エスノグラフィの手法を用いて記述し、分析する。
