Outline of Research at the Start	本研究の目的は、過疎化・少子化に伴う地域の祭りの準備作業の簡略化が、共同体精神の育成に与える影響を可視化することである。野沢温泉村や南小国で行われる祭りを担う人々を対象とし、15年分の映像データに基づき、1. 彼ら自身の言動の中から共同体精神の種類を洗い出し、2. その共同体精神を醸成させた作業を映像データから特定し、3. 年月を経て変更された作業内容を抽出し、4. 作業の簡略化による共同体精神の発現の違いを分析し、5. 分析結果を当地の重役たちと共有し今後の祭りのあり方をともに議論する。以上より、共同体精神を育成する伝統行事のあり方を示し、文化伝承のモデルケースを発信する。
