Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、基幹エネルギー産業である石炭産業を支えた労働者とその家族の産炭地への移入と定着、その後の産炭地からの移出を含む移動の全過程を、戦後復興期から石炭政策終了時までの50年間を対象に、マクロ・ミクロ両面から把握し、労働者家族の移動の視点から戦後史を再編することを目的とする。具体的には、申請者らが構築した炭鉱離職者の産業転換と労働者の社会移動に関するデータベースに、労働者の炭鉱への移住過程を連結して、石炭産業のライフサイクルにおける炭鉱労働者・家族の社会移動の全過程を記述する包括的研究である。
