Outline of Research at the Start

アルコール依存症は多くの社会問題と関連が深く、社会的な解決が求められている一方、一般的医療機関の潜在的な患者の数に比して、依存症専門医療機関に繋がっている人はごくわずかであるという「治療ギャップ」が指摘されている。本研究では、依存症当事者、当事者の家族、そして医療福祉相談や退院支援を担当する医療ソーシャルワーカーそれぞれのアクターに対する量的調査・質的調査を通じて、専門医療機関への接続／未接続の原因を把握し、治療ギャップの解消に向けた政策提言や社会福祉実践への基盤となる知識を提供する。
