Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、発汗を適切に制御する合成化合物の開発を通して地球環境の温暖化へのヒトの適応能力を高めることを目的とする。地球温暖化により、熱中症などが生命予後をおびやかす社会問題となっている。そのため人間が快適に過ごすための環境整備が進められている。本研究はこれまでに私たちが発見した発汗を制御する嗅覚受容体のリガンドとなる新規合成化合物の合成とその発汗制御能力を評価し、ヒトの環境適応能力を高めることで暑熱環境適応を促そうとする全く新しい発想の研究である。
