Outline of Research at the Start

従来さまざまな学びの機会や場面から排除されてきた人たちも含めて、すべての人やコミュニティが学びを通して生き生きとした生活を実現し、同時に共生社会を構築していくというビジョンの実現をめざす中核的な試みとして、障害者の生涯学習をテーマとした実践的な研究を行う。その際、兵庫県で実施されているいくつかの先駆的事例（のびやかスペースあーち、学ぶ楽しみ発見プログラム、神戸大学附属特別支援学校、兵庫県障害者生涯学習コンソーシアム等）をフィールドとしたアクションリサーチの実施と、国内外の研究及び実践ネットワークの活性化による「兵庫モデル」の構築を足場にした研究・実践拠点の形成、国内外への知見の発信をめざす。
