Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、江戸時代の二百数十年間、幕藩教育において正統な学問の中心にあった漢学教育が齎した文化としての漢学教養を、近世・近代を繋ぐものとして捉え、その持続性に着目し、幕末維新期における藩校の漢学教育の役割とその変遷の実態を明らかにするとともに、漢学教養がいかなる形で維持され、明治時代の近代化といかに関わっていったかについて、事例研究を通して総合的に解明するものである。
