Outline of Research at the Start

本研究の目的は、世帯の社会経済状況を考慮したうえで、幼児教育の影響に関する知見を創出し、政策提言を行うことである。貧困などの社会経済的に不利な状況は、子どもの発達に悪い影響を与えることが国内外で明らかにされている。海外先進国の研究では、幼児教育が社会経済的に有利な世帯の子どもと不利な世帯の子どもの発達の差を縮小させ、長期的に社会経済的な格差の縮小につながる可能性が示唆されている。しかし、日本では、幼児教育の効果を検証する研究は限られている。
