Outline of Research at the Start

医療の進歩により慢性疾病や難病を抱える子どもの長期的生命予後が改善子どもと家族のQOLや心理社会的機能の向上や改善に向けた支援が望まれている。小児医療において子どもが医療に関する説明を受ける権利や自分で意思決定する権利に関する認識は向上がみられている一方で、子どもの同意能力評価、意思決定支援のあり方に関しては未確立のままであり、臨床現場の主観的評価に委ねられている現状がある。さらに、意思決定に影響する心理社会的要因およびその支援方法論も未解決となっている。以上を踏まえ、小児医療に適した同意能力評価はどのように行われるべきか、そのアセスメントを用いた意思決定支援の実践モデルを構築する。
