Outline of Research at the Start

シリコンフォトニクスは，その高い拡張性と制御性，そしてCMOS技術との適合性から，大規模な量子情報処理を実装するためのプラットフォームとして期待されている．しかし，通信波長帯域では光強度が高くなると，2光子吸収による光損失が発生するという問題がある．本研究では，2光子吸収の問題が生じない中赤外領域で，高強度な光を用いた非線形量子干渉実験を実証し，中赤外領域の非線形量子シリコンフォトニクスの新たな展開を開拓することを目的とする．
