Outline of Research at the Start

原子核には魔法数で特徴づけられる殻構造という基本的性質がある。この陽子・中性子の秩序は、核子量子多体系を理解するうえで根幹となるものであり、この秩序を利用した殻模型計算などにより多くの原子核の構造を説明することができる。近年の不安定核の研究の進展により、安定核で知られていた殻構造は不変ではなく陽子数（Z）・中性子数（N）に応じて変化することが明らかになってきているが、陽子数・中性子数がアンバランスな原子核でどのように殻構造が変化するかはまだ十分に理解が進んでいない。本研究では、極めて中性子数が多いヘリウム同位体の核分光を行い、殻構造の変化をこれまでで最もN/Z比の大きい原子核で明らかにする。
