Outline of Research at the Start

超軟X線の反射率が偏光に依存する事が知られており、この原理を利用して超軟X線の衛星搭載用偏光計が製作できるのか原理実証する。そのため超軟X線を反射する反射板をを製作し、超軟X線ビームをそれに照射する。そして偏光方向の違いにより反射率が変化するのか、またどの程度のエネルギーレンジに対して、その手法が使えるのかを岡崎の分子科学研究所のUVSORを使って調べる。
