Outline of Research at the Start

金属積層造形に不可欠な高機能微粒子の開発が世界的に活発に進められている．液体金属に，超音速気流を衝突・分裂・凝固させる微粒子製造プロセスは，これまで熱流体工学の未踏領域であり，金属微粒子の界面特性を制御設計するために必要な，液体金属の動的な熱流動に関する知見が乏しい．本研究は，物理的・化学的に特異な薄い気液界面層が律速する，液体金属の分裂ダイナミクスと粒子トポロジー形成を対象に，複合的可視化とX線分析を通じて，金属微粒子製造プロセスを流体工学的に理解する．
