Outline of Research at the Start

新たにIII-IV-V族結晶材料を探索し、マイクロチップに組み込み可能なLEDを作製する。計算機シミュレーションから結晶のエネルギー状態、原子間隔などを求め、高効率発光素子実現のための制御因子を導く。得られた結果をもとに、分子線エピタキシー装置を導入し、目的の結晶を作製する。最終段階として、本学の共用施設のLSIプロセスラインを用いて開発した結晶を用いた受発光素子を作製する。
