Outline of Research at the Start

気候変動より被害の拡大も危惧される降水量増加とニホンジカの食害を考慮した世界的に稀有な斜面崩壊リスクの予測モデル，予測マップによる気候変動予測技術を開発する．具体的には，ニホンジカの食害により機能低下する浸透能，水循環変化とその周辺の環境データを調査分析し，浸透能減衰率を定量化して，モデル，マップの予測技術を高度化する．この予測技術を用いて，山地域の斜面と森林環境の安定性，非安定性を時空間分布情報として明らかにし，維持管理の困窮する山地域での気候変動のCO2吸収による緩和と災害防御の適応の両面の効果が発揮，運用できる持続可能な対策を検討する．
