Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では不混和型の合金 (Miscibility Gap Alloys: MGAs)を利用した潜熱型蓄熱材料の開発を提案する。この材料の相分離組織を制御し高温での安定相で蓄熱材料を覆い、低温で融解する相を蓄熱材として用いれば、化学的に安定でかつ伝熱効率の高い熱エネルギー貯蔵材料を作り出せると考えられる。本研究では、この新しいMGAsの特徴を生かし“高温で安定に熱エネルギーを吸収し、必要に応じて取り出せる安定な材料”を実現させるために、1)温度と流れを制御し分散した分離組織形成、2)数値シミュレーションによる分離組織の生成条件の最適化を行う。
