Outline of Research at the Start

We will study the interaction of methane, water and carbon monoxide molecules with a catalyst formed by a bimetallic alloy grown on ceria thin-films using atomic force microscopy, Kelvin probe force microscopy and force spectroscopy operated in ultra-high vacuum and at 4.8 K.
