Outline of Research at the Start

研究代表者らが開発した合成法により、構造が制御された多分岐高分子（HBP）を作製し、潤滑油に添加する。独自の合成技術と測定技術を活用して、HBPの構造パラメータが潤滑特性にどの様な影響を与えるかを検討する。HBPの構造と潤滑層物性の相関に関するデータを蓄積してその分子論的機構を理解すること、さらにはHBPを潤滑用の添加剤として実用化する道筋を付けることが、本研究の目的である。
