Outline of Research at the Start	Liイオン二次電池用正極材は、用途拡大に伴って要求される性能基準が高度化している。しかし、従来のリチウム遷移金属酸化物系ではこの基準を満たすことが困難であり、新たな材料系の確立が急務である。申請者は、天然資源で経済的・環境的効果の高い酸化鉄を材料複合化することで、従来の正極材よりも高い電池性能を発現することに成功した。本研究では、この複合材料のLi貯蔵形態や充放電メカニズムを解明し、新奇な正極材の設計指針を確立する。
