Outline of Research at the Start

環境ストレスは減数分裂時の乗換え頻度を変動させることが知られており、この変動にはクロマチン構造やDNAメチル化などDNAの動態が関与することが示唆されている。このことから、環境ストレスに応答する転写因子やクロマチンリモデリング因子が乗換え頻度の変動に関与すると考えられるが、まだ不明な点が多く残されている。そこで、環境ストレスに応答して発現量が変動する遺伝子の過剰発現体および重イオンビーム照射後代から選抜された乗換え頻度変動突然変異体を用いて、環境に応答した減数分裂時乗換え頻度変動に関与する遺伝子の同定を行う。
