Outline of Research at the Start

コラーゲンハイドロゲルは、機械強度を与えるとともに組織に足場を提供し、再生医療をはじめ様々な分野で利用されている。申請者らは、魚類コラーゲンの一次構造で新たな発見し、上記の問題を解決する可能性を得ている。この知見によりコラーゲンハイドロゲルの物性を制御出来るのではないかと考えた。本研究課題は、魚類コラーゲン分子の一次構造の違いが、どのようにコラーゲンハイドロゲルの形成と機械的特性に影響するか、そのメカニズムを解明することを目的とする。
